Prints from The Penfold Press
We're pleased to present a selection of screen prints editioned by our friend Daniel Bugg of The Penfold Press.
Each of the artists here will have originated their prints in a number of ways, often drawing directly onto film which is then exposed to screens at which point the artist will work with Dan, mixing colours and discussing how these might overlap. Dan explains...
"My role within the studio is to work along side the artist offering advice and guidance whilst taking care of the printing of the edition. Seeing an image develop through the various layers, colour combinations and working proofs can be an incredibly pleasing experience and seeing a finished proof for the first time is still an exciting moment."
With a working print approved by all, the edition will then be printed, signed and numbered.
