Please note: As with many of Michael's linocut prints, he employs an element of hand rolling and hand burnishing, resulting in slightly variations within the edition - a technique employed by printmakers such as Edward Bawden and Sheila Robinson (who lived and worked in Great Bardfield in Essex).
ABOUT OUR ORIGINAL PRINTS
Most of the works we offer are original prints, made using traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, wood engraving, lithography, screenprint and etching. Each process has its own particular character, from the carved marks of relief printing to the drawn or painterly qualities of lithography and screenprint.
