‘Goose’ captures Mark’s spontaneous, fluid approach to image making fused to an almost collage like handling of colour. Mark explains...
'I began spontaneously with paper and scissors to cut out the profile of a goose. A cool yellow combined with magenta against slate blue unintentionally recall French lithographic picture books of the 1930's and 40's. Duvoisin's Petunia and Burningham's Borka are birds of a feather - Spring is sprung!
ABOUT OUR ORIGINAL PRINTS
Most of the works we offer are original prints, made using traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, wood engraving, lithography, screenprint and etching.
