Anne Brontë (edition no. 4/4)
Stencil print - unmounted, unframed
Image size: 340mm x 400mm
Edition size: 4 copies
This is an original limited edition print, from a rare set of intricate pochoir stencil portraits of the Brontës.
These have been jointly made by Mick Manning and his partner the artist Brita Granström.
Originally created for The Brontë Parsonage Museum as part of the celebrations for Emily’s 200th birthday in October 2018. These are very small editions, hand-stippled in their studio. Signed by both artists.
ABOUT OUR ORIGINAL PRINTS
Most of the works we offer are original prints, made using traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, wood engraving, lithography, screenprint and etching. Each process has its own particular character, from the carved marks of relief printing to the drawn or painterly qualities of lithography and screenprint.
You can read more about the different printmaking methods in our guide to print mediums.
