Neil Bousfield
Neil Bousfield studied MA Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England, Bristol, being awarded with distinction in 2007. He had previously studied BA (Honours) Animation at West Surrey College of Art and Design, followed by an MSc in 3D Computer Graphics at Teesside University. In 2009 he was elected a member of The Society of Wood Engravers and in 2014 a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers.
After working as a freelance animator, then employed in the games industry as creative artist, Neil became involved in teaching printmaking for a charity working with excluded teenagers which led to visiting lecturer posts in Stroud, Cheltenham and Hereford. During this time Neil was the print technician for the Gloucestershire Printmaking Co-operative in Stroud.
Neil now works as full-time lecturer in Illustration at Norwich University of the Arts, whilst continuing to pursue his own printmaking practice.
