Housekeeping - an alphabet of monoprints

Chloe Cheese has been producing an alphabet of monoprints exclusively for St. Jude's.

For each letter, Chloe will be producing a monoprint in a handful of 'states' or variations, each one unique.

Each monoprint is produced using a variety of techniques including hand drawn lithography, stencilling and hand burnished letterpress.

If you're new to the technique, the Tate Collection describe a monoprint as "essentially a unique variant of a conventional print. An impression is printed from a reprintable block, such as an etched plate or woodblock, but in such a way that only one of its kind exists, for example by incorporating unique hand-colouring or collage."

We'll be adding letters as Chloe produces them.
